Tipi Lamps are colorful art sculptures inspired by the Iconic Native American Lodges of the Western Plains and Plateau Tribes. The contemporary designs pay Homage to the Legends, History, Culture & Art of the Native American People. Each Tipi cover design is an original and features a Spirit Animal and other symbolic Totems.
Tipi Lamps are hand-crafted in the traditional style favored by the Native American Souix tribe, with the tripod framework and additional wood poles arranged in an asymmetrical cone pattern.
Hand drawn illustrations are scanned and digitally assembled, then printed on heavyweight Archival Paper with permanent, fade resistant ink — AKA a Giclée print.
The Tipi Lamp’s overall construction is quite sturdy, although, as with all paper shade lamps, handle kindly and keep away from flame. The black foamcore base can get dusty, use a soft dry paint brush or feather duster to clean.
Tipi Lamps are 13″ tall – the oval base is 10.5 x 9.5″. The lamp fixture has a 7 W incandescent bulb [a double-bright clear nightlight bulb] with a 6′ brown cord and toggle switch. To replace bulb simply open hinge on the bottom of Tipi.
Tipi Lamps are $128. each – carefully packaged and shipped within USA for $20.
